- Authors

- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding the classification of Linear A tablets from the Haghia Triada site in Greece into classes and series. The author mentions that the suggestion of R. Palmer to classify linear A tablets into three main groups was too broad in which Type A was characterized by logogram and number. The author states that the fragmentary condition of tablet preservation and the difficulty in legibility of recognition of signs with certainty were among the biggest impediment in the study of Linear A tablets. Moreover, the author presents some preliminary remarks on the classification of 147 Linear A tablets from Haghia Triada site including the distinction of subject matters of recto and verso only when they are or could be different.
