- Title
Tract 16: What I Did Not Steal, Must I Now Restore?
- Abstract
This article explores the concept of salvation in modern theology, specifically focusing on Psalm 69:4 and its references in the New Testament. The author argues that this verse represents Christ's work of restoring the honor owed to God, which was lost through Adam's disobedience. The article discusses how Christ's obedience and sacrifice on the cross reverse Adam's sin and purify the conscience. It also emphasizes the importance of love for others and fulfilling the law of love in Christ's sacrifice. Ultimately, Christ's sacrifice restores honor to God and enriches humanity, enabling us to give God what is rightfully his.
