- Abstract
The article presents the case of a six-month old femal Great Dane dog which was admitted due to difficulty in breathing, discharge from nostrils, and rise in body temperature. Medical history suggests that the dog was previously treated with antibiotics along with supportive therapy. Attending veterinarian concluded that the dog had bronchopneumonia of bacterial origin, which was characterized by inflammation of the small airway and pulmonary parenchyma as a result of inhalation of pathogenic particulates.
