- Authors
Hewett, Elizabeth
- Abstract
The article discusses a study which explained the process of elite vocational ballet training. Such training is developed to train a young dancer with the skills needed for a career in classical ballet. Entry into elite vocational training involves audition that assessed physical potential, musicality and rhythm, and flexibility. The training plan for elite ballet students each year should reportedly be made around evaluations and performance schedules.
