- Abstract
The author reflects on the ways to avoid forms of bribery associated with sponsorship and hospitality. She cites the definition of bribery by Transparency International. She explores the fine balance between corporate hospitality and the provision of gifts, as well as their cultural differences. She notes the two areas of risk presented by the UK Act for sponsors related to hospitality and promotional activities. Also discussed are some suggestions that sponsors should consider.
