- Abstract
The author reflects on the Childhood and Adolescent Migraine Prevention (CHAMP) study, a National Institutes of Health-funded trial that compared mitriptyline, topiramate and placebo in youth with migraines. Particular focus is given to the Pediatric Migraine Disability Assessment. Also mentioned are ethical issues raised by the study's placebo arm, response rate, and goal of the CHAMP trial.
