- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 45-year-old man with disruptive snoring, fatigue and the inability to lie supine. He failed continuous positive airway pressure therapy due to claustrophobia. Later on he underwent uvulopalatopharyngoplasty with tonsillectomy and thyrohyoid suspension. Fifteen months after the initial surgery, the patient was reported with dysphagia and violent coughing fits. The article discusses the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and use of denervation therapies.
