- Abstract
The article presents information on the law and legislation regarding the legal, social and technological aspects of online protection of privacy in the U.S. Education is required to inform users about privacy practices and allow them to understand that their expectations are realistic and in accordance with law and enforcement. Information on people to store their data online, provocation of legal response in case of online practices and changes required in legislation is presented.
