- Abstract
The article offers information on developments made during 2010 in various areas of law in Canada including constitutional law, criminal law and family law. It discusses various court cases including R v. NS which analyzed whether a witness should be permitted to wear a niqab while testifying in a criminal case, R v. Canadian Broadcasting Corporation which addressed the media's right to access exhibits and R v Besharah which analyzed the burden of proof in a search incident leading to arrest.
