- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the interaction between the behavioral problems of adolescents attending high school and their emotional abuse by the parents and teachers. The study has been conducted on a total of 425 adolescents, of which 247 were females and 187 were males. "Parents Youth Relationship Scale", "The Perceived Teacher Behavior Inventory" and "The Conners' Teacher Rating Scale" have been employed within the study. The research revealed that the behavioral problems of boys are more common than the girls. Compared to boys the emotional abuse from mothers is high among girls. On the other hand, boys perceive the emotional abuse from teachers on a higher level than girls.
