- Abstract
The author reflects on the importance of randomized clinical trials (RCT) in the nursing profession, particularly among nurse researchers. Also cited are the reputation of RCTs as the gold standard for testing the efficacy and safety of pharmacological treatments, and tips on how to become proficient in conducting RCTs like studying the guidelines in the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT).
