The article examines the results of the 2012 Salary and Member Satisfaction Survey conducted by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in early 2012. The survey was carried out in such countries as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It focuses on the salaries of chemical engineers in said countries. Based on the survey results, chartered chemical engineers have higher salaries than their non-chartered counterparts.
