- Abstract
The article offers the author's views on the importance of having a marketing audit department in a healthcare organization. The author states that an organization providing additional staff that manage financial operations can result to an increase in effectiveness of an audit department. The author cites that there are series of events that an organization can implement an audit, including budget cuts, the resignation of a department head and during a request for an assessment by board of directors.
