- Abstract
The rapid evolution of quantitative methods for detecting prostaglandins has involved applied technology from a wide range of disciplines. As the many different techniques are improved and extended to a variety of analytical situations, a challenging array of choices is provided to researchers. Radioimmunoassays are currently the must prevalent mode of analysis of prostaglandins. The radioimmune assay can accommodate many samples at a time, but possible invalid results due to cross-reacting, interfering substances can require prior sample purification.
