An essay is presented on the artist Helene Funke. It discusses her work as an Expressionist painter and explains that little is known about her life. The influence Funke had on other work is explored and her still life paintings are analyzed for their color and form. Her exhibitions in Paris, France are described and the characteristics of Viennese art are explored.
