- Title
Ultrasound‐guided dorsal penile nerve block in children: In‐plane technique.

- Abstract
We read with great interest the short report on the dorsal penile nerve block by Rufini et al.[1] We fully agree with their opinion that it is important to perform the dorsal penile nerve block as a compartment block and to use an in-plane approach that visualizes all the anatomical structures and needle pathways to avoid damage to the surrounding tissues. The needle was inserted from the cranial side of the probe and advanced caudally parallel to the body axis using an in-plane technique. The block was performed after disinfection with povidone-iodine, with a sterilized probe cover attached to the probe.
