- Abstract
The article discusses educational practices outlined in the report "A Framework for K-12 Science Education: Practices, Crosscutting Concepts, and Core Ideas," published by the U.S. National Research Council (NRC). It aims to guide K-12 students in scientific research writing on topics which include health and environment. It also cites learning goals of the Framework which include the use of diagrams by students in communicating information and critical reading of scientific literature.
