- Abstract
The article discusses a study that assessed the reliability and validity of determining physiological detection of deception in various human and computer based polygraph methods. The assessment focused on the reliability of 25 criteria of deception diagnosis in a sample of confirmed field cases and lens model analyses of electrodermal, cardiovascular and respiration data by polygraph examiners. Based on the results of the assessment, the study offers recommendations.
