- Abstract
The concept of seismic resilience has already been vividly discussed in engineered systems. Unfortunately, the concept of the seismic resilience of slope engineering systems is still in its infancy. A literature review of seismic resilience to the engineered systems published from 1991 to 2021 across the Engineering and Geology domains was carried out. The spatial and temporal distribution of 1500 related publications, research trend indicated by keywords burst and co-occurrence analysis, and analysis for quantitative approaches toward seismic resilience assessment by full-text refining are included. Inspired by the literature review, this study attempts to establish a preliminary general framework for seismic resilience assessment of slope engineering including the definition of seismic resilience of slope engineering. multi-dimensional resilience metric, preliminary framework, and some issues to framework implementation. Additionally, future research directions in the field of seismic resilience for slope engineering are discussed.
