Worker killed in Mississippi paper plant explosion.
- Abstract
The article reports on the explosion at the International Paper plant in Mississippi. According to the authorities, the explosion have caused the death of one worker and the injuries of 17 others. It states that the blast in the plant, was caused by a boiler explosion and there were about 400 workers at the plant during the explosion. It reveals that 17 were taken to the a nearby hospital and five were take to the burns unit, and several were critically wounded. It also notes that the explosion occurred during the start-up of a recovery boiler as the mill was undergoing annual maintenance.
