Title
Ecology: Asocial invaders.
Abstract
The article reports on a study conducted by Julien Cote and his colleagues at the University of California, Davis on the four personality traits of the mosquitofish (Gambusia affinis), an invasive species. It states that the four traits measured by the researchers were exploration, activity, boldness and sociability. The team studied the sociability of the fish by determining the amount of time spent by the fish to a group of strangers in a new environment.
