- Abstract
Objective: salivary glands Tumors are rare head and neck neoplasia, the disorders of salivary gland are inflammatory, bacterial, viral, and neoplastic etiologies. Bacterial infections are common and major problems in dental practice. The oral cavity normally harbors the most varied and vast flora in the entire human body. The aim of the study is to analysethe prevalence of local pathogenic bacteria in oral microbial which associated with salivary giand inflammation in Iraqi patients with the salivary gland tumor. Methods: The oral mucosal swabs were obtained from (25) samples included (25) patients, The age of the patients ranged from 40-70 year, were confirmed and diagnosed as salivary gland inflammation, the aerobic bacteria was diagnosed and made antibiotic sensitvity testing. Results: Streptococcus spp. 32%(8) was a high prevalence of oral microbial which associated with Salivary inflammation in Iraqi patients and the lower prevalence was Kelbsellia pneumoniae 4%(l). Conclusion: There is growing epidemiological evidence regarding the link between oral microbial and malignancies which seem to play a role in oral carcinogenesis, and the decision of anti-microbial of odontogenic disease relies upon the research facility consequences of anti-toxin affectability testing and bacterial refined.
