- Abstract
This article discusses the jurisdictional conflict in the Kingdom of Valencia in Spain during the 16th and 17th centuries. It examines the process of configuration in the region and of the territorial administration in Valencia. The author analyzes the various forms of government throughout Valencia during this time period, as well as the administrative systems created to attempt to avoid political conflict. The political and ecclesiastical relationship between the autonomous Kingdom of Valencia and the Spanish monarchy is also explored.
