- Abstract
An essay is presented which focuses on Wiener Werkstätte (WW) textiles in the Bookbinding Collection of the Museum of Applies Arts in Budapest, Hungary. Topics discussed include the notable characteristics of WW textile patterns, the use of printed textiles in bookbinding various publications in the early 1900s, and the patterned canvases associated with designer Josef Hoffmann that were used as book covers.
