- Abstract
The ground potential rise (GPR) of communication tower caused by lightning strikes can transfer to adjacent equipment room. The GPR transfer leads to large impact area and long recovery time for equipment room, which becomes a major problem in the field of railway signaling. In this paper, the lightning transient test method for the ground grid of signaling equipment room is designed and applied, in order to research the coupling way of ground potential between the communication tower and the equipment room.
