- Abstract
In this text I analyze, in the specific context of the Arab-Israeli problem, the symptoms and failures of contemporary sovereignty; the State, on the one hand, and terrorism, on the other. We find that the law (or the force of law) makes with its territory a multiplicity of fringes, rather than limiting it in the name of national security. Throughout this paper, it will be demonstrated how the fringe enunciates and makes the law's aporetic territory visible. This is affirmed as a topological inversion of its condition, due to the non-relationship between power-space-body. With this inversion, certain systems of representation and enunciation of power are configured, thus denouncing and making the aporias on which the power itself is founded in the West visible.
