- Authors
Louks Jr., Vernon R.
- Abstract
This article presents the author's perspective on the U.S. economy. He argues that the U.S. has fallen behind other nations and is no longer a world leader. He offers several suggestions for reversing this trend including refocusing on strengths and how to use them in the future. Another step is to develop a willingness for risk and a long-term strategy. Other steps include finding ways to increase productivity and emphasize quality. One issue he emphasizes is ensuring the quality of the workforce.
