- Abstract
The article presents a case study which describes the management of Aboriginal fire in the wetlands of the World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park in Kakadu, Northern Territory (N.T.). The study is undertaken through burning the wetlands and documenting its impacts through the use high-resolution, satellite remote sensing related to ground-truthing of vegetation cover. Results show that traditional fire management enhances biodiversity.
