- Abstract
Social networks based on user recommendations are one of the most common sources of searching before a purchase decision. In the case of Hotel and Restaurant industry, TripAdvisor or Yelp have become habitual ways of valuing the experience of other customers. The great economic impact of these social media has resulted in a professionalization of the monitoring of comments by businesses and a large number of attempts to falsify the recommendations, reaching a separate point with the PromoSalento case in 2018.
