- Abstract
The article provides information on the WOEST Trial which compared two regimens with and without aspirin in patients on oral anticoagulant therapy (OAC) undergoing coronary stenting. It outlines the study designs. The background and limitations of the study are mentioned. It concludes that the study was designed to detect bleeding events and address the optimal antiplatelet therapy in patients on OAC undergoing coronary stenting.
