- Abstract
The article offers information on separation and identification of non-covalent metal complexes from bacteria by Hydrophilic interaction chromatography-Mass spectrometry (HILIC-MS). Topics discussed include information on the requirement of iron(III) for metabolism and growth of Pseudomonads; limitations of reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) due to insufficient retention; and use of HILIC-Fusion column in separation.
