Optimistisch bleiben.
- Abstract
The article deals with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on studying. It is reported that online lectures do not work optimally for students and the quality of online teaching is lower compared to face-to-face classes. One main problem is social isolation, as there is no contact between students. The psychological effects of the pandemic lead to uncertainty and a feeling of not being able to keep up. The University of Tübingen has taken measures to compensate for the deficiencies of online teaching, such as additional tutorials and encouraging student exchange. Internships have been reduced and uploaded as videos. The duration of studies has been extended due to the lack of internships. It remains unclear whether all lectures will return to face-to-face format.
