Commemorating the first victims of chemical weapons.
- Abstract
The article reports that Ambassadors to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) gathered in Ypres, Belgium on April 21, 2015 to commemorate the 100th year after chemical weapons were first used. OPCW also commemorated those who have died of chemical weapons and presented a commemorative plaque to the town of Ypres. They also revealed the Ypres Declaration on chemical weapons. Representatives of chemists called for a complete international ban on these weapons.
