- Abstract
The article discusses the study on the calibration of the fluorometer before being deployed on Southern elephant seals. The study employed satellite ocean colour radiometry and oceanographic sensors. Results reveal that the Indian sector of the Southern Ocean (SO), the surface chlorophyll concentrations were underestimated by a factor of the order of two to three compared to in situ system.
