- Abstract
The article focuses on the plans of GenCorp to sell Performance Chemicals and Decorative & Building Product businesses to its shareholders. It will become a separate business entity from GenCorp., turning into a publicly traded polymer products company. AeroJet, on the other hand will still be managed by GenCorp. John Yasinsky, chairman and CEO of GenCorp., states that this spin-off will allow both companies to concentrate on their key core businesses. Also, the company sold to Blue Mountain Wallcoverings its residential wallcovering business.
