- Abstract
The article reports on the agricultural biotechmology activity in Puerto Rico. It mentions that little is known about such activity in the country but actually Puerto Rico attracts biotechnology companies because of its tropical climate that permits such activity. It also cites that the country boasts of many genetically-modified crop experiments per square mile and that most of them are planted in the southern plains of the country particularly between Juana Diaz and Guayama.
