- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 28-year-old married woman who was sought consultation for sexual dysfunction after undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for acute myelogenous leukemia. It discusses the causes and physiologic changes as well as the physiological and social impact of sexual dysfunction. It notes the interventions implented which includes couple-based therapy, use of vaginal lubricants, and hormone replacement therapy.
