- Abstract
The article discusses the architectural decorations of monuments in the Severan period in Rome, Italy which include nymphea, propylaea and city gates. It mentions that cities of Pamphylia received nymphaea and restoration of scaenae frons of theaters and in the cities of Cilicia, the embellishment of urban landscapes is done by the monumental city gates and renovated colonnaded streets. It informs that the Corinthian and composite column capital was used due to their ornamental features.
