- Authors
Schneider, Jay S.
- Abstract
The author offers a response to comments by Neuwirth and Emenike on his article "Neurotoxicity and Outcomes from Developmental Lead Exposure: Persistent or Permanent." He discusses interventions that have been shown to counteract negative effects of development lead (Pb) exposure on learning/memory, the way to best protect children from the adverse consequences of Pb exposure, and factors that may provide important benefits for Pb-exposed children with persistent neuropsychological deficits.
