- Abstract
The article explores an aspect of corporate organization which is the chief executive officer (CEO) dominance. It identifies CEO dominance as a situation in which the board permits the CEO in exerting too much power and influence over corporate decision-making while abdicating its responsibility to rein in CEOs who engage in behavior contrary to the best interests of the corporation and its shareholders. It reviews the factors that contributing to the dominance of CEO and the decision-making.
