The article presents a study on the AnWj as an antigen expressed on red blood cells (RBC) of more than 99% of the population. Study shows that the titre of AnWj antibodies persisted even though there is a reduction of the paraprotein to 14 g/l from 22 g/l. Accordingly, this finding shows that erythrocyte survival studies can help to predict acute haemolytic reactions.
