- Abstract
The article offers information on the research by Tao and colleagues on an electrochemical imaging method that they named electrochemical impedance microscopy (EIM) to study electrochemical processes in cells. It says that EIM measures optical signals and uses surface plasmon resonance (SPR) imaging technology, in which the thin metal film used in SPR serves as an electrode for electrochemical detection. Furthermore, electrochemical map and SPR imaging map can be simultaneously recorded in EIM.
