A letter is presented which reflects the author's experience of performing Judeo-Spanish songs at a concert in the Bay Area, San Francisco, California in 1992. It expresses concerns for the singing of these songs in a "non-authentic" way. It suggests that singers should study, understand the tradition behind the songs and explain to their audiences the reasons for making changes to the songs.
