- Abstract
The article reports on the status of British Energy Group PLC's (BE) four advanced gas-cooled nuclear reactor units at Heysham and Hartlepool in England. According to BE, these reactors are recommissioned and returned to service after it experienced one year and five months of outage due to repairs undertaken in the facilities. The four units that supplied approximately 2,350 megawatts (MW) of electricity are put out of service on October 2007 after inspectors found some corrosion on its wires.
