The article offers information on two noteworthy botanical collections from Florida. Lythrum curtissii Fernald is locally abundant along Sampson Creek in the Gourd Island Conservation Area in St. Johns County. Its first collection was made along Turnbull Creek by J. Richard Abbott. The other collection, Persicaria arifolia Haraldson, occurs on Four Creeks State Forest and Wildlife Management Area. Information on Persicaria's habitat is also included.
