- Abstract
The article focuses on feminism and the ideas of the law as oppression and as resistance. Tackled are the approaches of English socialist feminism and Italian radical feminism in the family on issues including reproduction and housework and compares the arguments of the two approaches as they reject or support legal policies regarding the family. Noted is the thinking of Italian radical feminists on the impossibility of justice within the law which is contrary to the belief of English socialist feminists.
