The article focuses on various risks and obligations in the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) for individuals or businesses that conduct business internationally or are affiliated with foreign entities. It states that the FCPA has two sets of provisions, including anti-bribery provisions, which prohibit offering anything of value to foreign officials for the purpose of influencing the decision, and books and records provisions, which require companies to keep records and accounts.
