- Abstract
The article focuses on the importance of race or ethnicity in the long-term antiretroviral therapy (ART) associated with dyslipidaemia in patients infected with HIV. An overview of pharmacogenetic and genomic studies in HIV is presented. The article also discusses the aggregations between ApoC-III polymorphisms and triglyceride concentrations in the HIV patients from racial or ethnic background.
