The article discusses the technique of English language learning (ELL) through the use of wordless picture books. It mentions the 2017 National Center for Educational Statistics, which states that the ELL's percentage in public schools is increasing. It cites the 2008 study of Nakamoto, Lindsey and Manis that the key in English language learning is on decoding and reading comprehension skills. It adds that wordless picture books offers no difficulty of texts.
