- Abstract
The article explores the impression Ortega formed of Ibn Khaldūn and of his philosophy revealed in the 1928 essay "Ibn Khaldūn Reveals to Us the Secret: Thoughts on Africa Minor." Topics include opinion of Ortega on Khaldūn regarding his querry for Spain and Morocco relations; the battle between Christians and Muslims over control of the Iberian Peninsula continued throughout Ibn Khaldūn’s lifetime; and Ortega's opposition for Khaldun's nomadic life and urbanization ideas.
